Hospitality group Edyn has signed a £62.5 million deal to operate a property under its new Cove brand in Canary Wharf’s Landmark Pinnacle skyscraper.

The Cove brand launched at the end of last month, joining the group’s portfolio of brands such as Locke and Saco.

The Landmark Pinnacle building is located at the western end of South Dock and will be the UK’s tallest residential building once completed. It is in the vicinity of international banks and businesses and less than ten minutes from Canary Wharf underground station and Heron Quays DLR, with access to City airport and central London. The building will also benefit from the forthcoming arrival of the Elizabeth Line.

The 162-key serviced apartment will open this autumn and will occupy the first ten floors of the newly developed 75-storey residential building. The property will include 72 studio and 90 one-bedroom apartments, 54 of which will include winter terraces. Guests will also receive unlimited access to the building’s residential gym and members’ lounge, golf simulator and winter garden.

Cove Landmark Pinnacle is the second signing under the Cove brand, following the acquisition of a site in the Liverpool One development. Eight of the group’s existing Saco properties are being transformed into the Cove brand – these are located in Reading, Nottingham, London (Covent Garden, The Cannon, St Martin’s Lane), Cardiff, Bristol (West India), and Manchester.

Steven Haag, Managing Director of Cove, commented:

“Landmark Pinnacle will be a flagship location for Cove, realising our vision to create a next generation serviced apartment brand. This property will be one of the most preeminent offerings in London apartments, with unbeatable amenities such as access to the 56th floor gym. This ambitious project demonstrates our ability to target different types of real estate in prime city locations, including working with leading developers on Forward Purchase turnkey projects like Landmark Pinnacle.”
