Hyatt has opened its eighth property under its Hyatt Regency brand in Japan, located in Urayasu city in the Chiba Prefecture.

The newly renovated 350-room hotel is located a 30-minute train journey from central Tokyo, and is close to attractions such as Tokyo Disney Resort, and Makuhari Messe convention centre.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay comprises 350 rooms, many of which offer ocean views with a spacious terrace, and feature contemporary interiors with natural woods and colour palettes of blue and teal. Guests staying in the ten suites and 40 club rooms (located on the ninth floor and above) can make use of the ground-floor Regency Club lounge.

The hotel has four restaurants and bars which include all-day European-style The Garden Brasserie and Bar, traditional Edomae sushi restaurant Sushi Ema, and Teppanyaki Rukitei. A rooftop bar offers panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and cocktails.

Leisure facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre which includes an area for yoga and weight training.

The hotel also boasts two function rooms which total 196 sqm of event space and are equipped with projectors, audio equipment and soundproofing – they can be used for both virtual and in-person events.
