Marriott has opened two new properties in Anaheim, home to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and the Anaheim Convention Center.
The Westin Anaheim Resort and the longer stay Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center bring Marriott’s presence in the city to 30 properties.
The 618-room Westin hotel features a resort-style heated outdoor pool with five private cabanas, seven restaurants and bars including what Marriott says is Anaheim’s “only exclusive rooftop bar overlooking Disneyland Resort”, and 23 meeting and events spaces including a 1,500 sqm ballroom.
Meanwhile the Element property offers 174 rooms with fully equipped kitchens and spa-inspired bathrooms, as well as a heated outdoor saline pool.
The two hotels join the existing JW Marriott Anaheim Resort which opened in the summer of 2020.
Commenting on the news Jason Nuell, Senior Vice President, premium brands, Marriott International, said:
“SoCal is looking brighter than ever and as summer travel picks up, we’re thrilled to be able to welcome guests to The Westin Anaheim Resort and Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center – two distinctly unique experiences rooted in well-being.
“The new hotels seamlessly balance the excitement of the destination with the wellness promise that each brand is known for, giving mindful travellers new ways to experience Anaheim.
“With these two new openings, we’re excited to continue to expand Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio footprint in the destination in order to provide travellers with even more opportunities for meaningful connections and moments of self-discovery.”
