IHG Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Seraphim Development, has announced the first Voco hotel in South Korea which is scheduled to open in 2023.

Located in Gyeonggi-do province, Voco Pyeongtaek City hotel is located on the Korean Peninsula near a major sea port, which can be easily accessible by sea, by express train and by car. Some nearby attractions include the Pyeongtaek Special Tourism Area and Naeri Cultural Park.

The hotel will offer 280 guestrooms, the only rooftop pool with a 360-degree view of Godeok city and Ansung river, a restaurant, a lounge and bar, a fitness centre, and 1,300 sqm of meeting space.

The Voco brand that launched in 2018, currently has 15 signed and open hotels in the Asia Pacific, including three open properties in Hunter Valley and the Gold Coast in Australia, and Hangzhou in China with further openings set for Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, New Zealand and Saipan.
