Accor has announced the signing of a new Fairmont property in Saudi Arabia on the Ajdan Waterfront development, a mixed-use development in Al Khobar and the eastern province of the kingdom.

The group is partnering with Ajdan Real Estate Development Company for this property which is expected to open in 2023.

Strategically located on the waterfront in the heart of Al Khobar’s centre, Fairmont Ajdan Al Khobar will be close to the Saudi Aramco Headquarter, the King Abdulaziz Cultural Centre, and Airbase, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and various malls and attractions in the city.

In addition, its vicinity to the King Fahd Causeway ensures easy connectivity from Al Khobar to Bahrain.

The hotel will feature 160 rooms and serviced apartments, four dining outlets, and meeting rooms for large social and corporate gatherings. It will also house a Gold Lounge, a Fairmont Spa, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, and a kids club.
