In his address to the nation this morning on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the launch of multi-lingual M-Yoga app.
Developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Ayush, the app includes informative videos based on the common yoga protocol and is available to people across the world.
Prime Minister Modi said:
“Now the world is going to get the power of the M-Yoga app.
“In this app, many videos of yoga training will be available in different languages of the world based on Common Yoga Protocol.”
Talking about the benefits of yoga, he said:
“If there are threats to humanity, yoga often gives us a way of holistic health.
“Yoga also gives us a happier way of life.
“I am sure, yoga will continue playing its preventive as well as promotive role in the healthcare of masses.”

The app is currently available for Google Play Store users only. It will be soon available on iOS as well.
