
Hyatt has announced that it has opened the Hyatt Regency Taghazout in the village of Taghazout, around a 30-minute drive north of Agadir on the Atlantic coast and close to the Atlas Mountains.
The 190-room hotel including 28 suites is targeted at both leisure and business with extensive meetings facilities. It has three interconnecting meeting rooms, a 230 square metre ballroom and an outdoor space of 1,000 square metres.

Bars and restaurants include international cuisine with a Moroccan influence in Citron Brûlé; French and Italian Riviera cuisine at Sud, Km 17; the pool bar – La Vie en Blue and a Lobby Bar.
The Ilel Spa has individual and couples’ treatment rooms, a relaxation area, sauna, and whirlpool, and a hammam, as well as a fitness center overlooking the two swimming pools offering a selection of Yoga and Pilates classes, as well as a variety of nautical sports.
Nearby there is the 27-hole Taghazout Golf Club. Or guests can take a 30-minute drive to reach Agadir.

Hyatt Regency Taghazout is the second Hyatt Regency branded hotel in the country alongside Hyatt Regency Casablanca and the second Hyatt branded hotel in Taghazout next to Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay. Further strengthening the Hyatt brand footprint in Morocco, Park Hyatt Marrakech is under development.
