Cignpost Express Test has opened a new drive-through Covid-19 testing facility at Birmingham airport.

PCR tests are available for £80 per person for travelling passengers, and £99 per person for the test-only service. The facility will offer eight lanes and a testing capacity of 8,064 tests per week.

It adds to the group’s existing walk-in centre, which opened within Birmingham airport’s terminal building in January.

The news follows the airport’s confirmation last week that it is to take part in a UK government trial allowing certain flights from red list countries to operate, providing they arrive into dedicated terminals at Birmingham and Heathrow airports.

We are proud to bring Covid-19 screening services to the local community, and whether for personal or business travel, we remain committed to delivering the best possible service at an affordable price.”
