NH Hotels Group plans to add 12 properties across its NH Collection, NH Hotels, and Nhow brands this year.

The majority of the additions fall under the group’s rapidly growing NH Collection brand, with some of the eight “new” properties being conversions of existing hotels.

The 288-room NH Collection New York opened last month, following a “complete renovation” of the former NH New York Jolly Madison Towers, and several Boscolo properties are being converted to the NH Collection brand following an agreement with owner Covivio last year – including the NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi.

The brand is also set to debut in Qatar later this year, with the opening of the 228-room Vyra Suites NH Collection Doha.

Meanwhile the group’s contemporary Nhow brand – which launched in the UK last year with the opening of Nhow London – will add the Nhow Brussels Bloom (formerly the NH Brussels Bloom) this year, themed around the concept of “The Creative Hub: room for art”, with different art forms on each floor.

Finally the group’s core NH Hotels brand added properties in Germany and Venice in recent months, and will debut in the Middle East by the end of the year with the opening of the NH Dubai The Palm.

Earlier this year NH Hotel Group announced plans to join the Global Hotel Alliance, with its NH Rewards loyalty programme merging with GHA Discovery in early 2022.
