Spicejet has announced a discount of up to 30 per cent on its base fares to healthcare professionals. The discounted fares for doctors, nurses, and paramedics will be available on the airline’s domestic network.
The offer is valid for bookings and travel until September 30, 2021.
To avail of the benefit, eligible customers must visit www.spicejet.com and select the ‘Healthcare professional fare’ on the homepage.
They need to submit a valid healthcare professional ID/registration number as issued by a Government body such as the Medical Council of India (MCI), State Medical Council, or Indian Nursing Council (INC), or government-approved healthcare organisation for which the healthcare professional works, while making the booking.
Passengers are also required to provide the ID used for bookings along with a government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in/boarding as proof of their identity.
The special offer is valid for all one-way and round trip domestic direct bookings for healthcare professionals only and cannot be availed by their friends, family, and/or relatives.
Spicejet said in an official release, “The offer is applicable only on the base fare, and all other applicable charges/ fees/ taxes, etc. will be paid by the passenger. In case of failure to produce the relevant ID(s) at the check-in counter/boarding gate, applicable charges/fees will have to be paid by the passenger to avoid boarding being denied.”
