Two new eco-resorts with a glamping focus have been announced for Ras Al Khaimah under the fast-growing lifestyle brand Cloud7.
Cloud7 Camp Jebel Jais and Cloud7 Camp AlSawan are being pitched as “the perfect getaway for friends, families, work celebrations or even remote working” by parent company Kerten Hospitality, a mixed-use and lifestyle operator with a sustainability and community focus.
The two unique projects will be located in the UAE’s adventure capital, Ras Al Khaimah – one of which will be nestled in the in the mountainous area of Jebel Jais and the other in the sand dunes of AlSawan.
While both will offer immersive local community experiences, offering insights into nature, heritage and authentic Emirati hospitality and Bedouin life, the 60-key AlSawan property will showcase eco and desert farming, encouraging agrarian enthusiasts to grow fresh produce, while at the 30-key Jebel Jais resort, thrill-seekers and hikers will enjoy mountain views, trekking paths and more.
The announcement of the two new Ras Al Khaimah projects follows the recent successful opening of Cloud7 Residences in Ayla Aqaba, Jordan, part of Kerten Hospitality’s ongoing regional expansion, with new properties opening soon in Saudi Arabia and Egypt under multiple brands.
