Plaza Premium Group is to reopen three lounges at Australian airports this month.

This page on the group’s website advises that the Plaza Premium lounge within Sydney airport’s T1 (International Departures, opposite gates 25-26) reopens today (May 17), followed by the lounge at Brisbane airport (International Terminal, Departures, Level 4, between gates 81 and 82) on May 20, and the facility at Melbourne airport (International Departures, T2, near Gate 9) on May 31.

The majority of Plaza Premium’s lounges worldwide remain closed, although there are some notable exceptions, particularly in China, including the recently opened facility at Changsha South Railway Station in collaboration with Dragon Pass.

The group’s London Heathrow T2 Departures lounge is open, although spa services are currently unavailable, and selected facilities are also open at airports including Dallas Fort Worth, Abu Dhabi, Rome Fiumicino, Helsinki, Vancouver, Toronto Pearson and Rio de Janeiro Galeao International.

Last month Plaza Premium Group confirmed that it would not be renewing its contract with Priority Pass when it expires at the end of June, “except for a small number of lounges which are still under review”.
