The Indian Hotels Company has announced the opening of Vivanta Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

The property is located at a short distance from the Secretariat and State Assembly buildings, the airport, the Techno Park and the popular tourist attraction such as the Padmanabhaswamy temple.

Vivanta Thiruvananthapuram features 108 guestrooms; the specialty restaurant Kardamon serving delectable south Indian dishes; Swirl, the deli, offering some of the finest confectionery in town; a roof-top infinity swimming pool, and banqueting venues.

Commenting on the opening, Puneet Chhatwal, managing director and chief executive officer, IHCL said:
