Edition Hotels, a luxury lifestyle brand created by American entrepreneur Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International, will open a new hotel in Iceland’s capital city this year.
The Reykjavik Edition is located in the historical, scenic heart of the downtown area of Reykjavik by Old Harbor port. The hotel is a 10-minute ride from the airport and is close to Laugavegur Street, the city’s vibrant shopping district, and the Harpa Concert and Conference Center. Popular attraction Blue Lagoon is also within driving distance.
The Reykjavik Edition will feature stylish guestrooms and suites offering stunning vistas of the harbor, Mt. Esja, and the legendary Snæfellsjökull glacier.
The hotel will also have diverse culinary offerings, nightlife space, and event venues.
