The first day of the Songkran festival is celebrated on April 13 as an exuberant celebration with processions of the Buddha, with thronging crowds joining in the merriment in Thailand.

And though, this year is not the same in terms of celebration and revelry, Far & East, the pan-Asian restaurant in Four Seasons Bengaluru is showcasing  delectable Thai delicacies around the festival of Songkran.

On offer is a crunchy som tam thod , which is a tempura fried green papaya and carrots with sweet and sour tamarind dressing, yam wonsen, a flavoursome glass noodle salad to start the meal, goong neung manao (steamed tiger prawns) and Massaman curry packed with fragrant spice undertones.

These delicious traditional eats will be available for Songkran at Far & East for a limited period only – between April 9-16.
