Marriott International’s loyalty programme Marriott Bonvoy has announced exciting experiences for its members for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) that will begin on April 9.

Last year, the hospitality brand entered into a three-year partnership agreement with Mumbai Indians, the Mumbai-based cricket team that contests in the annual IPL.

Now, in its second year, Marriott Bonvoy members will get to enjoy more refined experiences including one-on-one (virtual engagements) with players, a coaching clinic, and an opportunity to go live on a social media channel with the Mumbai Indians and bid for signed memorabilia among others. 

The partnership will also offer an opportunity to travel with members of the team for a holiday getaway and create “Marriott Bonvoy Moments” with them. Members will get a chance to bid on a once-in-a-lifetime holiday experience with the Mumbai Indians’ players at a Marriott property in India.

In terms of F&B, a special menu themed around the game will be available to order through “Marriott on Wheels” food delivery service.

As part of this partnership, the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of hotels across the country will themed décor and unique culinary offerings inspired by the Mumbai Indians.

Soon, the hotels will also introduce staycation packages.
