Oman Air has extended its Covid-19 free insurance cover until December 31, 2021.
The policy covers the travellers who booked their tickets from October 1, 2020, and onward, for a travel period between October 1, 2020, until December 31, 2021.
The coverage now includes Oman resident cardholders (expats) who are required to present medical coverage for their destination and return to Oman, if travel is completed within 31 days.
Features of the cover include:
- 24-hour Covid-19 assistance
- Emergency medical assistance up to €120,000
- Quarantine accommodation cost up to €100 per day
- Repatriation cost
The insurance does not cover PCR test expenses.
If you are an Omani Citizen, GCC Citizen, or the Holder of Free Medical Card, then you do not require Covid-19 insurance.
It is mandatory to contact the Oman Air Covid-19 Assistance team if a passenger test positive against Covid-19.
