The Dorchester hotel on London’s Park Lane is to reopen its outdoor dining space from next month, including a brand new rooftop restaurant and bar.
The Dorchester Rooftop will open on April 12, the date from when hospitality venues in England are set to be permitted to serve customers outdoors.
The property celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, and it will be the first tine that the hotel’s rooftop has been opened up as a restaurant.
The venue is described as follows on the website:
“Hyde Park is at its most beautiful this time of year, so it’s a perfect time to unveil our new rooftop restaurant, commanding stunning views from the top of the hotel.
“Join us throughout spring and summer for live music and a series of al fresco culinary pop-ups led by executive chef Mario Perera and featuring a British summertime menu by Tom Booton and modern and informal French dining by Jean-Philippe Blondet.”
Reservations can be made here, and the menu for The Dorchester Rooftop can be seen here.
Meanwhile The Dorchester Terrace and Garden will also reopen from the same date “for cocktails and Italian light bites”, and the hotel is also bringing back its ‘garden globes’, which offer “a unique dining experience for you and up to four friends”.
The property is then set to fully reopen on May 17, the date from when hotels and indoor dining are currently set to be permitted to open again.
