Wyndham Hotels and Resorts will add its first Trademark hotel in Belgium next month, located in the Avenue Louise shopping district of Brussels.

Hotel Avenue Louise Brussels, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is an existing property which has recently undergone a €2.6 million refurbishment programme, and features 78 rooms, Louise Bar, and a new rooftop business centre for meetings and events.

Wyndham launched its Trademark Collection in 2017, aimed at independent three and four-star properties.

The soft brand currently has 113 hotels within its portfolio, mainly in the US, Canada and Germany, with other locations including Belize, Mexico, Sint Maarten, Curacao, Australia, Austria and Switzerland.

Properties are also set to join the collection in Budapest, San Francisco and Belize later this year.

In 2019 the group announced that Bliss Hotel Southport would be joining Trademark as the first UK property, but this hotel is not currently listed on the Wyndham website.

Commenting on the news Christian Michel, vice president for development Europe, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, said:

“This new opening marks an exciting step in expanding our Trademark Collection by Wyndham portfolio in Europe and around the world. Our Trademark brand is an important part of our conversion strategy.

It brings our powerful scale and world-class capabilities to independent hoteliers seeking the competitive advantage of a global hospitality company. Its growth is testament to the unparalleled value of Wyndham’s recognition, which has become incredibly important at a time when travellers are looking for brands they know and trust as they prepare to travel again.”
