Hotel group Qbic is gearing up to open its first Manchester property, housed within a converted 1960s office block on the city’s Deansgate.

Qbic Manchester will open on May 17, the current date when the UK’s “roadmap out of lockdown” will allow for the reopening of hotels in England.

The property will offer 261 “pet-friendly” rooms, across categories including Mini Rooms (small double), windowless Smart Rooms, Cosy Doubles, Fun Rooms for up to three guests, and Qbic suites or Fancy Rooms.

Rooms have Naturalmat mattresses, free wifi, laptop sized safes, rain showers, Faith in Nature organic toiletries, and other facilities include the group’s signature all-day restaurant and bar Motley, meeting spaces and a Trib3 fitness studio.

The property is currently running a Spring Back into 2021 offer, with 21 per cent off stays this spring and summer.

Qbic Manchester will join the group’s sole UK property in London close to Aldgate East Underground station, and two other hotels in Brussels and Amsterdam.
