Guests holding a meeting, conference, trade fair, or wedding at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt can now book rapid antigen tests for participants.

The hotel is working alongside Berlin company Easy BioMED, which operates testing centres in facilities such as Hotel Bristol Berlin. A rapid antigen test costs €39.90. Free testing for hotel employees is expected to be organised.

Up to four people can be tested at the same time in five-minute intervals at the new testing facility. Testing is organised via previously assigned time slots.

Test results are available after around 15 minutes. Hotel Director Karina Ansos wants to offer her employees the opportunity to be tested for the coronavirus free of charge once a week.

The hotel is using two technologies to offer employees and guests protection against Covid-19. The first is UV-C radiation for surface disinfection, and the second is an antimicrobial coating to keep disinfected areas free from bacteria and viruses.

The tests being used are listed by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.

Event organisers can contact Easy BioMED’s Wagner at the following email address: [email protected], to book rapid tests for their guests. Information on the testing process and the tests used is available on this website.

Ansos said, “We have set up a mobile rapid testing station in the treatment rooms of our Country Club & Spa, where guests can be tested directly before an event or a meeting to determine whether they are infected with the coronavirus.

“This significantly increases safety for all participants, and is in line with the German federal government’s testing strategy.”

Companies can also book a PCR test for their event participants at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. Easy BioMed will work with a partner laboratory in the nearby town of Dietzenbach to test the samples. The results will be available the next business day, and the test costs €99.90. PCR tests can be booked with the Express Service for same-day results, at a cost of € 250.
