Hilton has announced plans for its first property in the Warwickshire town of Nuneaton.

The new-build Hampton by Hilton Nuneaton will form part of a mixed-use development on Abbey Street, which will also comprise a cinema complex, food hall and residential units.

The 146-room hotel will be one of the first to feature the brand’s refreshed interior designs and flexible social spaces.

Hampton by Hilton currently counts around 100 properties in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, with recent openings in Munich, Manchester (pictured above), and Madrid.

Hilton also recently signed an agreement to develop ten new properties in Germany under its Hampton by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Motto by Hilton brands.

Commenting on the news Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton, said:

“Hampton by Hilton Nuneaton is an important addition to this ambitious town centre redevelopment, and will support the growth of Nuneaton as a regional business and leisure hub.

“Now, more than ever, hospitality can play a vital role in reinvigorating the high street, and we look forward to welcoming guests at the hotel, which joins more than 200 Hilton properties trading or under development across the UK and Ireland.”
