Aparthotels Adagio has announced plans to open two new properties in France, located in Boulogne-Billancourt and Saint-Nazaire.

As part of an agreement with Portner Invest, the group will open Aparthotel Adagio Saint-Nazare in May, located ten minutes from the town centre and seaside resort of Saint-Marc-sur-Mer in western France. The aparthotel will be an Adagio Access – the group’s economic range – and will comprise 80 renovated apartments, a gym and a car park. Some of the apartments will include private outdoor terraces.

The property will also be close to Saint-Nazaire’s business park, which is home to over 70 companies, while thousands of students are expected at the city’s Digital Campus in 2022. The brand adds that it will “attract nature lovers and eco-tourists” due to its proximity to salt marshes and Parc Naturel Régional de la Brière.

Additionally, the brand has signed a management mandate with Kermen 768 to open a property in the Trapeze district in Boulogne-Billancourt, located in the western suburbs of Paris, in the last quarter of 2022.

Aparthotel Adagio Boulogne will be located close to the Billancourt metro station and the future Pont de Sèvres station. It will have 101 fully furnished apartments that can accommodate two to four people, and feature an outdoor space, sports hall, underground car park and common areas “that open onto the city”. The project is managed by First Avenue and is a renovation of a previous property.

The new properties will both feature the brand’s signature concept ‘The Circle’ – a multifunctional common area for guests.

Commenting on the Boulogne-Billancourt announcement, Karim Malak, Managing Director of Adagio said:

“We are very pleased with the new development in Boulogne-Billancourt, which strengthens Adagio’s presence in western Paris. We’re delighted to be back with First Avenue and Towa, with whom we already have worked with on the development of the Adagio de Vincennes, whose management contract has just been renewed.

“These signatures demonstrate our partners confidence in our know-how and our business model, which has proven its resilience in these unprecedented times of health crisis.”

The brand recently announced plans to open a property in Stuttgart in 2024.

A joint venture between Accor and the Pierre and Vacances Center Parcs Group, Aparthotels Adagio plans to double its portfolio by 2023, including a 162-apartment property in Glasgow’s Saint Enoch.
