Accor has partnered with Qatar-based developer Katara Hospitality to launch a new iteration of luxury lifestyle brand Delano in the French capital in 2022.

The Delano brand was first launched in Miami, with a subsequent property in Las Vegas, and the new Maison Delano brand is set to be rolled out “in major global urban city centres”. The new brand will include an F&B concept by world renowned chef Dani Garcia and “feature unparalleled accommodations, cuisine and mixology experiences”.

Maison Delano Paris will be the first addition to the brand, located in the city’s eighth arrondissement in an 18th century mansion at 4 Rue d’Anjou, close to the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The hotel will include 56 rooms and suites, and a restaurant and bar in the mansion’s historical courtyard.

The hotel will be renovated over the course of the next year to provide guests with “a luxurious and chic aesthetic encompassing a lush entrance, a glorious courtyard, and light and relaxing guestrooms”.

Andrew Humphries, Acting CEO of Katara Hospitality commented on the news:

“We are delighted to have come to this strategic partnership with Accor by adding Maison Delano to our collection of hotels. We believe this collaboration will add operational strength and build on the foundations of our successful portfolio; Katara Hospitality’s vision is to build a hand-picked selection of leading hotels in key destinations around the world. Maison Delano is the ideal opportunity to grow our footprint in this vibrant and exciting market.”

Gaurav Bhushan, CEO of Accor’s Lifestyle Brands, added:

“Maison Delano Paris marks the evolution of the Delano brand, bringing a luxurious experience to the centre of the world’s most exciting cities. We couldn’t be prouder to launch this concept with our partners at Katara Hospitality.”

Accor recently unveiled a raft of new hotel openings for this year, with the number of lifestyle hotel developments expected to triple by 2023.

The group also recently announced that it would join forces with UK-based developer Ennismore to create a new global lifestyle hotel company, and launched a global partnership with Faena Group to further expand its luxury lifestyle portfolio.
