The Imperial Hotel, Tokyo has received the GBAC STAR accreditation as a facility that works in accordance with the rigorous international standards of safety measures.

GBAC STAR is affiliated with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council which is a division of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), that provides operating standards for the implementation of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention protocols.

The accreditation highlights The Imperial Hotel, Tokyo’s efficient hygiene and safety measures. The staff is posted at all entrances in the hotel to welcome guests and customers, carry out temperature checks and help with disinfection in accordance with the hotel’s guidelines.

“Ever since its founding, The Imperial Hotel has described hygiene as the life of the hotel, and has focused on protecting the health of its employees, preventing the spread of infectious diseases, and ensuring the safety and security of its guests and customers,” the hotel said in an official release.
