Pune’s only airport will remain completely shut for two weeks in April and May. The city’s airport at Lohegaon will not be operational between April 26 to May 9, 2021, as it undergoes runway resurfacing work.

The airport’s commercial flights operate out of an Indian Air Force airbase, whose airstrip has been undergoing repairs since October last year.

Pune airport will also not operate any night flights for a year due to the re-carpeting work that is underway on the runway of the airport.

However, for the 14 days in April and May, the airport will see a total shutdown.
