Aero India 2021 begins

The 13th edition of Aero India International Air Show has commenced. The defence minister of India, Rajnath Singh was present at the inauguration of the three-day event which will be held until February 5, 2021, at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

“Attended the inaugural ceremony of the Aero India Show in Bengaluru today. Despite the constraints posed by the global pandemic, I am pleased to see such a large number of participants in this year’s event,” said Singh.

The highlights of the inaugural event include LCA Tejas MK1A order ceremony, the inauguration of India Pavilion and live air show.

Aero India 2021 will showcase the vast potential and opportunities that India offers in the defence and aerospace sector.

This will be the world’s first-ever hybrid aero and defence exhibition. Exhibitors are likely to showcase their products using the latest technologies to potential customers.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi said, “India offers unlimited potential in defence and aerospace. Aero India is a wonderful platform for collaborations in these areas. The Government of India has brought futuristic reforms in these sectors, which will add impetus to our quest to become Aatmanirbhar.”
