Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Salter Brothers, has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Brisbane. This is the first Hyatt hotel in Brisbane and the eighth operating Hyatt hotel in Australia.
The 292-key hotel is situated in the heart of the city’s central business district within Queen Street Mall. It has been rebranded from an existing hotel and will undergo a major refurbishment to enhance the guestrooms, public areas, event spaces, and dining venues.
Hyatt Regency Brisbane is a 15-minute walk from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and approximately one km from the South Bank cultural district.
Entertainment venues such as Brisbane Live and the new Howard Smith Wharves on the waterfront, attractions like the Museum of Brisbane and Brisbane City Markets as well as the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens are also in close proximity.
The accommodations will feature modern décor, bathrooms with walk-in showers, and business-centric amenities, including comfortable workstations, making it an ideal stay option for business travellers.
Overlooking the lively Queen Street Mall, the outdoor infinity-edge pool and bar on the fourth floor are perfect to unwind and relax. Other facilities include the 24-hour fitness centre, an all-day restaurant, and over 100 sqm of flexible function space.
