Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas’ properties in Sri Lanka will reopen their doors for international visitors soon — Anantara Kalutara Resort is set to welcome international guests from February 6, 2021, and Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort from February 22, 2021.

The two resorts have been certified by the government as Level 1 ‘Safe and Secure’ to welcome international travellers as part of the country’s ‘bio-bubble’ approach to revive tourism.

As per Sri Lanka’s new tourism safety protocols, international travellers have the flexibility to stay in several of the certified hotels during their initial 14-day bio-bubble period.

While Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort is surrounded by a 22-acre coconut plantation, a golden sandy crescent beach and turquoise ocean, Anantara Kalutara Resort is uniquely secluded between the Indian Ocean and Kalu Ganga River; and is located on the coast south of Colombo, a one-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Along with luxurious accommodation, guests staying at these resorts can enjoy a wide range of cuisines and experiences.
