Emirates will begin resuming passenger flights from London Heathrow and Manchester to Dubai from February 2, just a few days after services were suspended “indefinitely”.

“From 2 February 2021, we will operate passenger flights to Dubai from London Heathrow and Manchester,” Emirates said in a notice.

Note that these services are one-way only passenger flights, as the UAE is currently on the UK government’s “red list” of banned destinations.

The Dubai-based carrier said on its website that passengers looking to leave the UK should be aware of quarantine arrangements that may face them at their destination.

“Customers seeking to leave the UK on these services should ensure that they are authorised to travel under the latest UK government rules, and meet the travel requirements of their final destination.”

On January 29, Emirates suspended all of its flights between the United Kingdom and Australia indefinitely, after the UK government banned air travel with the United Arab Emirates.
