The Iconic Luxury Hotels Group is set to open elegant apartments this spring opposite its existing hotel 11 Cadogan Gardens in London’s Chelsea.

The Apartments by 11 Cadogan Gardens will be located across the gardens from the hotel at number 20 within a newly renovated six-storey townhouse set behind a red brick Victorian façade, with each floor featuring a one-, two or three-bedroom residence. The six apartments will each feature fully fitted Bosch kitchens and opulent living areas and are described as “laid-back yet luxurious extended stay” options for business and leisure guests.

Interiors will include period touches, traditional high ceilings, contemporary furnishings and modern décor. Each apartment will also offer views over and access to the leafy, private Cadogan Gardens, while entry to the apartments is via a secure and private off-street entrance with direct elevator access.

Facilities will include a fully-stocked fridge with “essentials and home comforts” and access to the full hotel services at 11 Cadogan Gardens, including dining at the hotel’s Hans’ Bar and Grill. The property is also close to Pavilion Road, which comprises independent artisan shops including a butcher, baker, wine merchant, cheesemonger and greengrocer, while it’s also a short walk from Knightsbridge.

Ian Richardson, General Manager of 11 Cadogan Gardens, commented on the news:

“It is fantastic to be able to add this element to 11 Cadogan Gardens’ offering, both for existing guests and for those who would normally choose a self-catering option over a hotel — now they can enjoy the best of both worlds. In addition to the ability to stay in a luxurious and contemporary home from home, the apartments are ideally located to explore the hustle and bustle of Chelsea and its surroundings whilst positioned discreetly in a quiet corner with wonderful views over Cadogan Gardens.

“Guests can opt for complete privacy or can take advantage of our full hotel services at 11 Cadogan Gardens including housekeeping, room service, the gym, lounges, and concierge, as well as Hans’ Bar and Grill. The apartments are perfectly placed for work or play and will offer guests the chance to experience London like a local.”

This will mark the brand’s first ever apartment suites.

Iconic Luxury Hotels was formed in 2016, and the portfolio currently consists of five properties – Cliveden House, Chewton Glen, Lygon Arms, 11 Cadogan Gardens and the recently opened The Mayfair Townhouse. In 2019, the 56-room 11 Cadogan Gardens joined the luxury hotel and restaurant collection Relais and Chateaux as its only London member.
