Hyatt is set to bring its lifestyle Hyatt Centric brand to Georgia in 2025, with a property located in the coastal city of Batumi. The hotel group has signed an agreement with Alliance City LLC to develop the hotel in Georgia’s second largest city.
Hyatt Centric Boulevard Batumi will be located at the start of Rustaveli Avenue, Batumi’s main street, on a seafront promenade overlooking Batumi Beach. The hotel will be built as part of the new mixed-use development Alliance Centropolis which also features apartments, the World Trade Centre Batumi and a shopping and entertainment arcade.
The 180-room property will include 14 suites, a restaurant and lobby bar, fitness and spa facilities and 550 sqm of event space.
Takuya Aoyama, vice president of development for Europe and Africa at Hyatt, commented:
“We are focused on growing Hyatt’s brand footprint in locations that matter most to our guests, World of Hyatt members, customers, and owners. “Batumi is a delightful place to visit with unique culture, and we look forward to welcoming savvy travelers who are eager to explore all that the city has to offer.”
