Ryanair has further extended its flight change fee waiver, to cover all bookings made up until March 31, 2021.

The move follows previous extensions to the policy, the most recent in November last year.

Customers who book before the end of March can now make two flight date changes until October 31, 2021.

The carrier said that the move would give passengers “greater peace of mind when booking their Easter and Summer 2021 holidays, when Ryanair believes air travel will re-open following the successful roll-out of the Covid vaccines in the UK, Denmark and many other EU states”.

“If your plans change, so can your booking,” a spokesperson said. “To provide as much flexibility and confidence as possible for Ryanair customers, we have extended our € zero flight change fee for all bookings made in January, February and March.

“Mindful that Covid restrictions change regularly, Ryanair is now allowing up to two free flight date changes on all such bookings up until October 31, 2021. Customers can now book flights to see family and friends this Easter or book a well-deserved Summer 2021 break with confidence knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so with a € zero change fee until the end of October 2021”.

Earlier this month Ryanair published its latest traffic forecast for the full year to March 31, 2021, warning that new lockdowns in the UK and Ireland could reduce February and March numbers “to as little as 500,000 passengers each month”.
