Marriott is gearing up to open two W hotels in the US in the coming months, as the brand welcomes properties in Nashville and Philadelphia.
As we reported back in 2018, W Nashville is located in the Gulch district of the city, between Nashville’s Music Row and Downtown areas.
Features will include 346 rooms, two restaurants, a gym, swimming pool, and meeting and events space including 3,600 square feet of terraces.
There will also be a rooftop bar with views of the Nashville skyline, featuring a central fireplace and “sliding garage doors along the perimeter”.
The hotel is currently slated to open in May 2021, and ahead of this W Philadelphia is scheduled to open in March, located in the city’s downtown area.
The 295-room property forms part of a dual-branded Marriott development, with the 461-room Element Philadelphia also scheduled to open in April.
Features will include a swimming pool, Italian restaurant Dolce, and 45,000 square feet of events space across 22 meetings rooms.
The W Hotels brand currently has 59 properties open with another 35 in the pipeline – forthcoming destinations include W Edinburgh, W Gramado and W Playa del Carmen.
