Spicejet has announced a daily non-stop flight connecting Delhi with Pakyong (Gangtok), Sikkim. The low-cost carrier was awarded Pakyong under UDAN II. The services will start from January 23, 2021.

Pakyong airport is the only operational civil airport handling commercial flight operations in the state.

The airline will deploy a Bombardier Q400 aircraft on this sector.

Additionally, Spicejet will add a second frequency on the Delhi-Leh-Delhi sector starting January 27, 2021.

The airline has announced an introductory promotional fare starting at  ₹4,310 on Delhi-Pakyong and Pakyong-Delhi route
