Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has opened a new-build property in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu.

The 90-room Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kathmandu-Thamel is the first Wyndham hotel in the country, and is located on Z Street, around 7km from Tribhuvan International airport.

Features include a rooftop plunge pool, fitness centre, a meeting room for up to 80 guests, Pateo restaurant and bar, alfresco bar and grill El Beso Caro, and Chocos N Subs, serving light meals and coffee.

Other internationally branded hotels in the Nepalese capital include Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, and Kathmandu Marriott Hotel.

Wyndham’s midscale Ramada Encore brand offers limited-service hotels aimed at business travellers. The brand unveiled a new logo and designs for public areas in 2018.
