Dubai is hosting a range of events and activities for New Year’s Eve. Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Calendar have listed below some interesting ways to ring in 2021:
DSF Markets
Enjoy great deals at malls and stores across the city as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival’s (DSF) sale season promotion, which runs until January 30 and offers savings of 25 to 75 per cent. Choose from an array of live concerts and events, including fireworks displays. For New Year’s Eve, head over to the DSF Market at Al Seef presented by Al Foah to watch the Al Seef Sea Kite Show, as well as the DSF Market at Al Khawaneej.
Fireworks
Fireworks displays have been set up at 23 different locations. Fireworks shows will be held at Burj Khalifa; Burj Al Arab; Madinat Jumeirah; Dubai Festival City Mall; Global Village; La Mer; Dubai Frame; Jumeirah Beach Residence – The Beach; Al Seef – Dubai Creek; Nshama Town Square; Bab Al Shams Desert Resort; Le Royal Meridien Resort; Bvlgari Resort Dubai; Golf Club – Arabian Ranches; Emirates Golf Club; The Address Montgomery Hotel; Jebel Ali Hotel; Four Seasons Hotel; The One & Only Hotel – Palm Jumeirah; The One & Only – Royal Mirage; Atlantis The Palm; Jumeirah Zabeel Saray; Park Hyatt Dubai.
Concerts
Enjoy a live concert by Russian singer Lolita Milyavskaya at Burj Al Arab. Other interesting concerts to check out in Dubai include DJ duo Adriatique and Manchester-based music duo Solardo’s performance at Soho Garden and multi-platinum selling band KISS’ concert at Atlantis, The Palm.
Bid farewell to 2020 with an all-stars night with Dubai Opera’s line-up of artists. Arabic electronic house pioneer DJ Said Mrad will be joining DJ Saif & Sound and Carrie Gibson’s Nuvo Soul band at the iconic Downtown Dubai venue.
