Goair has launched a direct flight between Mumbai and Coimbatore.
Flight G8 0331 departs Mumbai at 1240 hours and arrives at Coimbatore at 1430 hours. Return flight G8 0332 departs Coimbatore at 1500 hours and arrives in Mumbai at 1650 hours.
“Our entry into Coimbatore is in line with the growth strategy that we adopted for domestic markets. Domestic air travel demand is witnessing a continued recovery, with passengers increasing 10 per cent month-on-month to around 63,54,000 in November,” said Kaushik Khona, chief executive officer of Goair.
He adds, “We are detecting demand among not only industrial and business fliers, but also leisure travellers. Coimbatore is also an entry and exit point to neighbouring Kerala and Ooty.”
