Airport Dimensions has opened a ‘sleep ‘n fly’ Sleep Lounge at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The new facility, which offers passengers a unique and private space where they can sleep, rest and social distance, is located at Terminal 3’s Concourse C and is the company’s third Sleep Lounge at the airport, with others located at Concourses A (Terminal 3) and D (Terminal 1).

Inspired by Scandinavian design, the Sleep Lounge features 12 FlexiSuite Pods with sound-proofing, ambient lighting, air-conditioning and a seat that fully reclines into a flat-bed.

A 32-inch screen connects to a traveller’s mobile, tablet or laptop, while other features include a folding tray table, cup holders, a small waste bin, baggage storage and a compartment to store coats, shoes and a laptop.

There are also five Sleep Cabins, three with double beds and an optional pull-out bed for a child up to 115 cm tall and two with bunk beds. These stylish well-designed spaces are soundproof and feature air-conditioning, ambient and reading lights, an alarm clock, coat hanger, mirror and tray table.

Dubai Airports describe its sleep ‘n fly lounges as an “oasis of relaxation for a one-hour power nap, an entire night, or any duration in between”.

“Each unit also serves as an office pod to complete an urgent job in comfort and privacy before your flight,” it adds.

Airport Dimensions, a global provider of premium shared-use lounges, also recently launched its ‘sleep ‘n fly’ Sleep Lounge concept at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (HIA).
