British Airways has announced that it will launch flights from Southampton airport to 11 European destinations next summer.
The airline has signed an agreement with the airport to operate 17 seasonal flights each weekend to locations in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, France and Germany.
The flights will take place between May 1 and October 31, 2021, and will be operated by its BA Cityflyer subsidiary using its Embraer 190 aircraft.
Destinations on the flight network (see image below) will include Berlin, Bergerac, Edinburgh, Faro, Florence, Ibiza, Limoges, Malaga, Mykonos, Nice and Palma de Mallorca.
Return fares will start from £66, and travellers can book via the website from today.

The services will be replacing some of those lost due to the collapse of Flybe in March.
British Airways Holidays is also offering seven-night flight and hotel packages from Southampton to destinations including Malaga, Faro and Palma from £199 per person, available to customers who book before midnight on December 16, 2020.
