Hilton is preparing to open a Garden Inn property in Snowdonia next year, located beside tourist attraction Adventure Parc Snowdonia.
The opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia on March 26, 2021, will coincide with the re-opening of the park, which closed earlier this year due to Covid-19.
The 106-room hotel will be connected to Adventure Parc Snowdonia, an attraction which features an inland surf lagoon and indoor adventure area in the Conwy Valley area of North Wales. Guests will have access to the park’s facilities, in addition to off-site activities such as mountain biking and gorge walking, enabling them to explore the surrounding mountains and forests. Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia is also situated less than 16 km from the town of Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia National Park.
Rooms will have floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the surf lagoon and natural scenery, while a soft muted colour palette will reflect the “natural tones and hues in the beautiful landscapes” surrounding the hotel.
Zephyr’s Restaurant and Bar on the ground floor will “work closely with local dairies, brewers, distillers and farms” to create seasonal menus, while floor-to-ceiling windows and a large outdoor dining terrace will overlook the surf lagoon. The hotel will also have a 24-hour shop for snacks.
Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia will also have a fitness centre and four meeting rooms totalling 321 sqm.
The lagoon-side hotel will be directly connected to the park’s new Wave Garden Spa, which boasts six treatment rooms, several pools, a steam room, two saunas, and a yoga studio. The spa will also open on March 26, 2021.
Aside from the Hilton property, Adventure Parc Snowdonia offers “wooden glamping pods” accommodation, with underfloor heating, plug sockets and a decked seating area.
