A 24-hour help desk for women has been set up at GMR led Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL).
Dedicated to provide assistance to women in need of help or distress, the service will be manned by a police personnel round the clock. Hyderabad airport works closely with stakeholders like the state police, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Security Agency (Raxa) to ensure maximum passenger safety.

“The presence of a dedicated women help desk at RGIA (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport) is indeed a welcome step and on behalf of our passengers, RGIA and the entire airport community, I thank the Commissioner of Police Cyberabad Shri V C Sajjanar, IPS and the Telangana State Police and Safety Health and Environment (SHE) team to have come up with this novel initiative.
“GMR Hyderabad International Airport has been providing a highly safe and secure environment for passengers, visitors and airport workforce round the clock working closely with the State Police.
“The commissioning of this round the clock help desk will reaffirm faith and security for all women who pass through the airport as it is easily accessible and within reach if they are in need of any assistance.”
