On November 27, the entire city of Dubai will turn into a running track, under Dubai Run, as a part of Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) presented by Mai Dubai, in association with Fitbit and Cigna.

The flagship fitness movement launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai is inviting all the residents of Dubai, irrespective of fitness level, age, and abilities, to participate.

Participants can choose their preferred route in any neighbourhood or community; from Jebel Ali to Jumeirah, and Downtown to Dubai Creek.

DFC is also launching six 28-day training programmes to help the routine runners and first-timers, which have been designed by the likes of some of the region’s leading professional athletes and coaches, including Tania Lolla Kaddoura, Manal Rostom, Luke Mathews, Abdullah bin Hajjar, Lee Ryan and Luke Gaffney.

Launched in 2017, this is the fourth edition of the citywide fitness movement.
