Rove Hotels is all set to open the only hotel located on the Expo 2020 Dubai site on October 1, 2021, coinciding with the event’s opening date.
According to the event’s official release, “Rove Expo 2020 will be at the centre of the action, right next to the global mega event’s iconic Al Wasl Plaza, where the opening and closing ceremonies and 182 days of daily live productions will take place.”
The hotel will offer 312 rooms and 19 stylish suites, boasting urban interiors. A rooftop swimming pool, sundeck area, and a 24-hour fitness centre are some of the recreational facilities. The hotel will also include some cool co-working spaces, ideal for all business travellers staying at the property.
In terms of F&B, there will be Rove’s signature offerings — The Daily, a grab-and-go Rove Café and The Bar.
Paul Bridger from Rove Hotels said, “After many months working in the background, we are proud to announce Rove Expo 2020, the only onsite hotel at the upcoming Dubai Expo and part of future smart city District 2020. It will be our ninth Rove hotel in Dubai.”
The first World Expo to be held in the middle east, Africa and south Asia (MEASA) region, Expo 2020 Dubai has been postponed by a year due to the pandemic crisis. It will now run from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.
