Vistara will commence operations on the Delhi-Dehradun route, November 9 onwards.

The Tata-SIA Airlines had announced the addition of Dehradun to its network back in February 2020. Flights were to begin on March 29, however they didn’t take off due to the Covid-19 lockdown in the country.

Passengers from Dehradun can also take connections through Delhi to other cities – including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur and Varanasi – on Vistara’s network.

Air India is also rumoured to begin Delhi-Lucknow-Dehradun operations thrice a week.

Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, is a popular hill-station in north India. Travellers can drive to a number of other destinations such as Mussoorie and Landour from here. With leisure travel crawling back to normalcy, Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport is beginning to see a moderate amount of activity.
