The travel and hospitality industry elite are gearing up for the hotly anticipated Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2020, which for the first time since the programme’s inception, will be staged online.

The virtual awards ceremony will be hosted via Zoom at 3pm (UAE) on October 20th, with all participants receiving their invitation with a link giving them access to the exclusive event via email. The link will also be posted on the Business Traveller Middle East awards website and social channels.

Showcasing companies at the forefront of business travel and services, the popular awards programme recognises top-level executives for their hard work and acknowledges organisations that are leaders in delivering products and services for the frequent travelling executive.

More than 250 guests will attend the virtual ceremony to find out if their businesses have been voted the best by the brand’s readers.

Ian Fairservice, Managing Partner of Motivate Media Group, said:  “It’s been an incredibly challenging few months for the travel and hospitality sector, so it is more important than ever that we recognise companies that have gone above and beyond in business travel over the past last year.”

The shortlist of contenders for the 35 awards categories, which range from ‘Airline with the Best Cabin Crew’, ‘Best Airport for Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East’ and ‘Airline with the Best Frequent Flyer Programme’ to ‘Best Airline Worldwide’, ‘Best Airport in the World’ and ‘Best Hotel Brand Worldwide’, are available online at btme.ae
