British Airways has launched a new Avios redemption sale across all long-haul cabins, as well as discounted short-haul reward flights.
The promotion means Executive Club members can fly to any long-haul destination, in any cabin, for half the Avios normally required.
Examples given include return Club World reward flights to Los Angeles from 62.500 Avios compared with the usual 125,000, and to Dubai from 50,000 Avios (with taxes, fees and carrier charges being paid in cash).
In addition members can redeem short-haul reward flights for 25 per cent fewer Avios, with examples including 16,500 Avios for a return trip to Venice.
The sale runs for bookings made up until October 13, for travel by June 30, 2021. Full details of the offer, including terms and conditions, can be seen here.
Niall Rooney, Head of the British Airways Executive Club called the sale “a rare promotion for all our loyal Executive Club Members who are longing to get travelling again”.
Last week BA unveiled an expanded schedule of flights for October, with service resumptions to destinations including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Bahrain, Grenada, Maldives and the Seychelles. The carrier is also set to launch its new route to Lahore on October 12.
