Radisson Hotel Group has opened a new Park Inn property within walking distance of Vilnius International airport.

The Park Inn by Radisson Vilnius Airport Hotel and Business Centre offers 120 rooms, a gym and 400 sqm of meeting space capable of accommodating up to 300 people.

Rooms feature photographs by  Lithuanian photographer Marius Jovaisa, and the hotel’s Bocca Buona restaurant and bar serves homemade pizza and pasta and features a live pizza cooking station.

The hotel join an existing Park Inn property in Lithuania’s second largest city of Kaunas, as well as Radisson Blu hotels in Vilnius and the port city of Klaipeda.

Commenting on the news Tom Flanagan Karttunen, area senior vice president, Northern and Western Europe for Radisson Hotel Group, said:

“We are delighted to open the most convenient hotel at Vilnius Airport. In these challenging times for the travel industry, we believe in offering guests the best possible experience at an affordable price.

“With the addition of this hotel to our Baltics portfolio, we are strengthening our position as the leading international hotel group in the Baltics, and now offer our guests five different hotels and almost 1,000 rooms in Lithuania.”

Last month Radisson Hotel Group announced that it had rebranded its Park Inn hotel at London Heathrow airport, splitting the property into two hotels under its Radisson and Radisson Red brands.
