British Airways has increased the number of destinations it is flying to this October. The increase includes both short haul and long haul destinations.
From today, long haul services have begun to Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Bahrain. Flights to Grenada are scheduled to return on October 14, 2020, while flights to the Maldives and the
Seychelles are scheduled to return on October 16, 2020.
Lahore, a new addition to British Airways’ route network, begins on October 12, while new Heathrow services to the Maldives and Barbados service launch on 16 and 17 October respectively.
On short haul, Brussels, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Gothenburg, Milan Linate, Stuttgart, Seville and Valencia return from today.
Bilbao, Kefalonia and Luxembourg return tomorrow and Lanzarote returns on Saturday, 3 October 2020.
Later in the month, services will resume to destinations including, Gran Canaria, Billund, Bordeaux, Basel, Brindisi, Cologne, Malta, Salzburg, Vienna and Zagreb.
Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Director of Network and Alliances, said: “We’re glad to be returning to more destinations this month, connecting the UK with more and more countries around the world.
The announcement of new countries added to the UK’s quarantine list (Turkey and Poland as of Saturday) underlines the uncertainties of those booking travel, though British Airways is offering its “book with confidence commitment [which] means you have the option to change your booking date and destination or even cancel it completely.”
