Maharashtra Tourism unveils new properties

Maharashtra Tourism has inaugurated two new properties in the state — Grape Park Resort, Gangapur, Nashik and Youth Hostel in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The launch of these two establishments will contribute extensively to Maharashtra’s leisure and MICE tourism segment.

Grape Park Resort, Gangapur, Nashik: The resort is 35 km from Nashik Airport. Pandav Cave (30 km), Bahuli Dam (60 km) and Shirdi (100 km) are a few nearby destinations.

The resort features 40 rooms which can accommodate up to 144 guests at one time. Accommodation categories include deluxe, heritage rooms and plush suites.

Guests can enjoy a range of Indian and local delicacies at the restaurant. There is an open-air dining space to soak in the stunning views.

The property can be utilised for business and corporate events. Spa and swimming pool with deck furniture along with the pool bar are some recreational amenities available. Adding to this, is a party lawn for 300 guests (approximately ), gazebo, jogging track, cycling track, lawn pockets and beautiful plantations.

For the young guests, the adventure park is equipped with facilities like car dashing, 5D theatre, laser tag zone among others.

Another key highlight is the Boat Club offering adrenaline-pumping activities for adventure enthusiasts.

Tourism and Environment Minister of Maharashtra, Aaditya Thackeray tweeted:

Youth Hostel, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai: The property will serve as an ideal venue for hosting MICE events in Navi Mumbai, the fourth largest industrial centre of India and biggest in Maharashtra state.

This Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) project comprises a restaurant with kitchen (60 pax), souvenir shop, fitness centre, seminar hall (60 pax), business centre, dormitory, indoor game room, 27 suites and open-air cafeteria service.
